Frequently Asked Questions

We do most kinds of remodeling and small construction work. Kitchens, bathrooms, home additions, garage conversions, outdoor decks, and repairs that come up along the way. Some people call us for one room, others for a full house project. We take it as it comes. Our goal is always the same -to leave the space better built, cleaner, and stronger than it was before.

It has been over thirty years now. We started small with just a few tools, one truck, and a lot of long days. Through the years, we have built everything from patios and kitchens to full home additions. We have made mistakes and learned from them too. Experience is really what makes the difference. You stop guessing and start knowing what will last.

We are based in Upland, California, and we mostly work around the Inland Empire like Montclair, Claremont, Chino, and other nearby cities. We try not to take on jobs that are too far out, so we can stay close and give proper time to each project. If you are not sure whether you are in our area, you can call and ask because we will tell you straight away.

We visit the property, take a look at what needs doing, and talk through what you have in mind. Once we know the scope, we prepare a written estimate. It includes materials, labor, permits if needed, and any extras. We try to keep it clear so there are no surprises later. If something unexpected shows up once work begins, like water damage or hidden wiring issues, we talk about it before moving ahead.

Yes, we are both licensed and insured. It protects you and it protects us. Our crew follows safety procedures on every job, and we keep everything documented. You can always ask to see the paperwork if you want. We have nothing to hide and are always ready.

Most jobs start with a call. You tell us what you want to change or build, and we set a time to come by. After we see the space, we give an estimate and a plan. Once that’s approved, we order materials and get the permits if they are needed. When work starts, we keep you updated each week with what’s done, what’s next, and what to expect. Toward the end, we walk the space together to make sure everything looks and feels right. If something small needs fixing, we take care of it before wrapping up.

Most of the time, yes. For kitchens or bathrooms, you might lose use of that area for a bit, but we do our best to keep it manageable. For bigger projects like additions or major structural work, it can get noisy and dusty, and sometimes it is better to step out for a few days. We will always be upfront about that before we begin.

It depends on what we are doing. A small bathroom might take two to three weeks. A kitchen usually takes around four to six weeks. Full additions or major work can go a few months. We do not rush the job, but we also do not waste time. The main thing is finishing it properly with straight cuts, solid finish, and no loose ends.

Clear out the space as much as you can. Move furniture, pictures, and personal things away from the work area. Cover what needs covering. If you have pets or kids, plan to keep them out of the construction zone. It keeps everyone safe and helps us move faster. We will also talk through what days we’ll be there and what you can expect.

Yes. We stand by our work. If something we built or installed does not hold up the way it should, we come back and make it right. We have always believed that the best advertisement is a happy customer who calls us again or sends a friend our way. That only happens if the work lasts.

You can call (909) 489-0939 or use the contact form on our website. We also reply quickly to emails if that is easier for you. Usually, it is one of us who answers and not an office assistant. We like keeping it personal and simple.
